Although Established in 2024, CEO Louis Edwards has over almost 4 Years experience in the Transport/Haulage Industry. Before starting L Edwards Transport Limited, I worked for a few different companies within the industry. In 2021. I started driving delivery vans for a major UK supermarket delivering Ambient, Chilled & Frozen goods to Homes in and around Cardiff.

In the November of 2021, I Took time off work to complete my HGV Class 1 Licence & Certificate of Professional Competence, I then passed these tests in early December.

In March 2022, I Started my first job driving a 32 Tonne Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle working around South Wales for a company specialising in the aggregates industry, After a couple months I wanted a change in work so I then left my job.

 

Then, In June 2022, I Started my new job driving 44 Tonne Articulated Heavy Goods Vehicles with a company based in Cardiff, However this job was a lot different from my last job as It was a Tramping Job meaning I worked away in my Lorry for 5-6 Days a week covering England, Scotland & Wales.

I Worked this job for around 1 and a half years until I decided I wanted to spend more time at home with my family and find something that was more flexible, So December 2024 I opened L Edwards Transport Limited and here we are now.
